Canada – The Place To Be

There are more than a dozen reasons that say for Canada but we will just name 5 here:

  • Quality Education
Canada holds a proud international reputation for high educational standard. This is reflected in the country's PISA test ranking which places consistently in the top 10 for all the categories of reading, math and science in all the years the tests have been administered.
  • Quality of Life that is Hard to Beat
Canada is currently ranked 8th on the UN Human Development Index, an annual survey of 170 countries that uses a number of factors (life expectancy, literacy, education, standard of living and GDP per capita) to determine quality of life. The country has the highest ranking cities in North America according to the Mercer Worldwide Quality of Living Survey 2010, which ranks cities based on safety and stability. Five Canadian Cities ranked within the Top 25 cities: Vancouver, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal and Calgary. Moreover, Calgary and Ottawa are 1st and 3rd respectively for being the most eco-city in the world.
  • A High Tech Country
Canada is a stimulating environment in which to do business and to learn, thanks to the contributions of many bright and talented scientists, researchers and entrepreneurs. The country is an international leader in computer and information technologies and has a reputation for excellence in such sectors as telecommunications, transportation and engineering. Amongst the well-known Canadian companies are Research in Motion (RIM), the global leader behind the wireless technology of the Blackberry product line and Bombardier, the global transportation company with two industry-leading businesses of aerospace and rail transportation.
  • A National Respect for Multiculturalism
Canadians are very proud of the diversity in their nation. In 1971, Canada was the first country in the world to adopt multiculturalism as an official policy. This means Canada recognizes the potential, value and dignity of all people regardless of their racial or ethnic origins, their language, or their religious affiliation. In this vibrant setting, different perspectives are respected and learning together is encouraged.
  • The Great Outdoors
An ideal, all-season destination, Canada offers all the sporting adventures you can imagine like skiing, snowboarding, golfing, dog-sledding, curling, whale-watching, rock climbing, hockey, skating, canoeing, sailing, wakeboarding, fishing, hiking, and so much more. The expanse of Canada's natural beauty, from mountains and glaciers to secluded lakes and forests, is almost unparalleled worldwide. Canada is also home to some of the world's finest natural wonders including Niagara Falls, the Rocky Mountains, dinosaur excavation sites, and the Cabot Trail.
